In 2019 Christof Industries conducted its first comprehensive materiality assessment in accordance with GRI guidelines. The materiality assessment analyses the significance of our economic, environmental and social impacts and their influence on the assessments and decisions of our stakeholders regarding our company.
The plan for the upcoming years is to review the assessment annually through discussions with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the material topics identified are still accurate. Every 3 years, we will review our materiality assessment with wider stakeholder groups.
On the basis of the external and internal analysis of the social, environmental and economic impacts, we have created a materiality matrix. This matrix has helped us develop our sustainability strategy and determine the scope for our sustainability report.
