Our technologies in the renewable energy field include Power to Gas, solar thermics, desalination and biomass power plants.

We aim to upgrade and retrofit industries to be more sustainable and resource efficient and encourage the adoption clean technologies. Our research and development facilities continuously innovate and have developed sustainable technologies that can be implemented in many industries.
Sustainable Cities and Communities
We strive for sustainable cities and communities by investing in infrastructure and ensuring clean water and sustainable energy provision. One example for this is our housing project in Maharashtra, India.

Christof Industries focuses on the sustainable management and use of natural resources and waste reduction and reuse. Our technologies are based on circular models that support the environmental management of chemicals and waste. Both for ourselves and our clients we aim to reduce waste generation and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices.
Our company has set the target of addressing global climate change by meeting the carbon budget. We want to reduce our carbon footprint and also that of our clients. Through applying the precautionary principle as a risk management approach we aim to plan for and avoid environmental damage. Our technologies can help increase energy efficiency and reduce GHG emissions to make industries cleaner.

Christof Industries contributes to reducing poverty through paying fair wages to all employees, in all countries, by supporting economic development in areas of high poverty ensuring inclusive business and thus having a positive impact on local communities (e.g. our partner AgriProtein brings high-end jobs to the marginalised community in ZA).
Through innovations and partnerships such as our Insect Technology and our new Food Valley concept, Christof Industries aims to ensure food security and provide alternative agricultural solutions.

Our business model generates economic value and our technologies lead to higher productivity with high tech exports, training and education. We also aim to support the local economy by using local suppliers and offering inclusive business through partnerships with SMEs. Christof Industries contributes to global resource efficiency by encouraging sustainable production and aims to tackle youth unemployment by offering various opportunities for young adults such as apprenticeships.
To promote economic and social development, creating stable and quality employment plays a very important role. We are reducing inequality through our global application of various corporate policies such as the Code of Conduct, that prevents discrimination and promotes respect and diversity, as well as equality between men and women (SDG 5) and provides support to workers.

Christof Industries intends to prevent marine pollution through innovative technologies and circular models such as Insect technology, Biocycle, WTE, recondOil, ChemWater to Value and Waterborne Waste Management Solutions.
Life on Land
Conservation, restoration and sustainable use of ecosystems is also very important to us and especially in the industrial sector it is important to consider these factors, including the impact on soil and on the food chain. With our safe and clean operations and services we aim to protect our ecosystems and use our technologies to avoid waste and reduce emissions to protect life on land.

As a company that is active in many countries, we feel a duty to uphold our ethical values in our approach to business. Also, responsible business practices are critical to achieve our mission.
