Vattenfall Europe New Energy (2010)
The technical concept comprises a RDF-fired combined heat and power plant (CHP) with a grate-fired boiler. The steam produced can be used either for electricity production in a steam turbine or be led directly to the district heating network.
Scope of Supply
The scope of supply included the engineering, delivery, construction and commissioning of the combustion system. The contract included the following systems:
- Fuel feeding
- Combustion grate
- Water-cooled main combustion zone
- Air-cooled burnout zone
- Steel structure of the combustion grate
- Complete cooling system
- Air supply
- Ash discharge system
- Combustion control system
