Christof Industries’ subsidiary FMT had a long-term contract to provide inspection, service and maintenance work for a gas turbine facility at the CET Bucuresti Vest power plant in Bucharest, as well as to manage the provision of spare parts. The maintenance work included all inspection measures (furnace inspections, hot gas conduit inspections, main inspections) as well as repairs and, when necessary, organising replacement components. There was a 24h/365d on-call service.
Another highlight was the online monitoring of the gas turbine from an FMT office. Using OMS, a PC or laptop with the relevant software could be used to view and save current operating data, but also to review conditions in the past. Operating data could also be viewed via a smartphone app, in case no PC, laptop or tablet was available.
