Tipping Hoppers
Materials are deposited directly from trucks into the hopper while it is horizontal; the hopper is then raised into a vertical position by means of two hydraulic cylinders, and the material can be transferred to a bucket elevator via the integrated belt conveyor. This solution not only results in significant savings, but combines both ease and efficiency.
Features
The standard set-up of the hydraulic tipping hopper includes an integrated discharge belt conveyor, a safety fence with multiple light barriers and a traffic light system. Optional extras include an unloading ramp and a hydraulic hopper cover.
The technology employed in the tipping hopper has been reworked and it now features a better working point for the main cylinders, improved access to the hydraulic unit and control box, cylinder position switches instead of ordinary position switches, and safety guards that can be stowed for transport. The design of the discharge belt conveyor has been improved to make belt changes easier, while a new support construction has been added and the overall width has been set at 3.6 m to facilitate transportation. As a result of structural improvements, the hopper is both lighter and less prone to buckling.
