Biomass Power Plants: Green, Cheap, Efficient
Longer Lifespans and a Broad Spectrum of Fuels
The process used by Christof Industries ensures a significantly longer operating time compared to air-cooled grate systems. It also offers a wider range of biomass fuels and thus clear cost advantages through the use of cheap, seasonally, or regionally available materials. This creates clear cost savings by making it possible to use materials that are cheaper because they are available locally or seasonally. One of our power plants in Thailand for example is powered in part using waste from palm trees.
Setting New Standards on Efficiency and Emissions
In addition to being incredibly efficient in the transformation of thermal energy into electricity or heat (steam/hot water), the process also sets new standards from an ecological point of view. All emissions are in line with the strictest European environmental guidelines – e.g. ACT (Advanced Conversion Technology) compatibility in the United Kingdom.
