Doubrava and the Chair of Conveying Technology at the Montan University in Leoben (Prof. Kessler) signed a cooperation agreement at the end of January 2017, paving the way for effective collaboration for years to come.
To begin with, the Montan University Leoben (MUL) is analysing the current design of Doubrava’s belt conveyor from a technical perspective as part of a joint product review. The aim is to identify potential to optimise the design, technology, materials, and weight, as well as to identify potential improvements to make the belt conveyor easier to store, assemble, and operate. Competitiveness in terms of cost will also be investigated with input from Doubrava’s production partners.
The results will be presented at the end of the project (expected for Q3/2017) as a product relaunch. There are already further collaborative projects with MUL in the pipeline.
