Insektianer, an Austrian company operating on Christof Industries Insect Technology, has been publicly praised on ORF–TVthek for its success and the news that it will let others participate in it from September 12th, 2022.
Insektianer
Insektianer shared that this move has been decided based on tireless work and the company’s rapid development. Moreover, this is a unique opportunity to initiate an international crowdfunding campaign with Austria’s most significant and multiple award-winning financial platform, Rockets Investments.
This kind of “let’s participate”, also known as crowdfunding, should bring Insektianer as a company a big step closer to our goal of realising Europe’s most efficient and largest insect farming hub located at the Welser Terminal. In addition, a direct investment offers supporters the attractive opportunity to be part of the growth and success of Insektianer. The company has been dedicated to sustainable recycling management and solving acute problems for several years by developing unique insect technologies. In this way, organic residues are revolutionised, and high-quality raw materials are replacing several established sources of protein, fat and fertiliser, along with their adverse effects on nature and the environment.
All information about the crowdfunding concept and the legal aspect of investments can be found on the Rockets Investments website.
Christof Industries Insect Technology
Every year, 1.3 billion tonnes of organic waste are generated worldwide. Thus, Christof Industries Insect Technology is crucial for the environment because it treats the waste while emitting 70% less CO2 than other forms of waste treatment. As Dr. Friedacher, Head of the Research and Development team, explained, the benefit is that “on the one hand, you reduce piles of waste and greenhouse gases, and on the other hand, you close the loop by recycling the waste.”
There are more advantages, such as environmental protection. For example, food used in fish farming consists of wild fish, contributing to the overfishing of oceans. With our technology, insect larvae can be used to replace fishmeal, helping protect ocean wildlife.
Here at Christof Industries, we are proud of our innovative plant design, not just because of its technology. We are pleased that our company has contributed an essential element to solving one of the most pressing environmental problems our planet faces. Christof Industries is currently working on dozens of new projects implementing insect-based technologies.
The insect technology waste processing plant represents the world’s first biotech technology that completely re-uses every type of organic waste. This innovative and simultaneously sustainable environmental technology has been recognised as a pioneering “waste-to-nutrient” achievement, earning both the BBC Food Chain Global Champion title and the Clean Equity Award in 2017.
Pioneering Technology
Christof Industries’ technicians and engineers face particular challenges in developing a complete plant. The goal is nothing less than the development of automated techniques along the entire length of a biological process chain – from the preparation and purification of the culture medium obtained from organic waste, the breeding, and harvesting of larvae, through to the production of protein-rich animal feed. This is an entirely new field of applications for nutrient recycling, where there are no ready-made solutions.
Innovation and Creativity to Achieve Sustainable Solutions
Our customers value Christof Industries’ engineers’ creativity in developing industrial plants just as much as they value our decades of experience in waste recovery and upcycling. The end result will be a fully automated plant with reliable, high-quality output, supported by intelligent monitoring technology and processes that take their cue from nature.
We are excited about the future that Insektianer x Rockets Investments crowdfunding will lead us all to.
