Christof Industries added biogas technologies to its portfolio in order to serve the needs of the circular economy. The production of renewable energy from biogas in the form of electrical or thermal energy or bio-methane is the result.
In the design and realisation of the essential components of modern biogas (or anaerobic digestion) plants, we concentrate on the homogenisation of the waste stream. The homogeneous organic waste stream from Insect Technology plants is ideal for pumping into appropriately sized anaerobic digesters, where stabilisation can take place. A series of bacteria groups convert the organic material into methane and carbon dioxide. Using biological desulphurisation, we generate renewable energy, bio-methane and fertiliser.
Anaerobic Digestion
Advantages:
Reducing the environmental impact of waste
Simplified processing of homogenous residue from the Insect Technology plant
High-quality ammonium sulphate products can be sold as fertiliser
